You guys on this board are phonomenal, so I know someone out there knows something about this bottle. I've looked on these boards, and ebay and haven't seen anything just like it.

It's handblown (no seams) with an applied 'drippy' lip and applied circular label that says: PERNOD FILS (there's one star above this and one star below). It's 11 1/2 in high and 2 1/2 in round at the bottom. It has a 'push-up' base -- about 2" concave - and in the middle of the concave area, it feels like a smooth round marble. It's a pretty shade of green and has nice ripples and waves. It was dug in the early 70's. It has a nick on the label, wear on the bottom, but no other damage that I can see.

I'm curious about it's history and if it has any value, so any info is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!

cc6pack--Wow! fascinating -- so it's from about 1908. Too bad it's not full, since it would have been valuable, and probably been fun to taste -- even if it is still illegal in US -- interesting!

So, it's worth under $10.00?? or under $2.00??

mm. wonder why I didn't get the hits using google you did. .

Again, thanks for your help. This is fun, I'm learning about all kinds of things, not just bottles, but a lot of history -- what a great hobby!
