THIS STINKS.....IT IS SATURDAY, I HAVE THE WHOLE DAY OFF AND I AM TRAPPED INSIDE BECASUE IT IS POURING SO HARD THE RAIN IS ACTUALLY COMMING BACK UPWARD WHEN IT HITS THE GROUND!! I AM GOING STIR CRAZY....I GUESS IT'S TIME TO GET A LITTLE WET AND DIG ANYWAYS!!!!! BOOOOOOYAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!![8D]

Well.....I went out for a couple hours in the pouring rain....and it wasn't for nothing! I did some shallow scratching and pulled out a local blob and a Duffy's Malt Whiskey in the lass common 7" size...it is mint too. I sold one of these a while back for $30 so it was worth getting a little wet for!

I feel your pain DF. April showers in May, YUK. I've been so excited about the prospect in my post (see) and now, well, even my backyards flooded now. The brook area was looked at breifly but I'm not as brave as you. Nice finds for you but I think I'm gonna have to go down a foot or ten for what I'm thinking.

It is beeeeutiful on the gulf coast. Went out to locate an 1830s ferry landing and the owners house. Supposed to be money {gold and silver} burried there. Not only located the site of the home and ferry landing thanks to a guy named Hal who worked with Mel Fisher on the Atocha but found out it was also a Union Army Camp. Did some preleminary work with magnatometers and metal detectors and plan to go back soon.

Also learned of a hidden bottle heaven that can only be reached by boat. Got one of them.[]

I have a couple old dumps in my neck of the woods that can only be reached by boat as well....they are always the best dumps cause of the limited access![]

we went out looking before the rain........

nothin much today...just a manmade cave system and other random things.

walked about 10 miles today. [&o]

see the island in the first pic? we took off our shoes and socks and walked to it. who needs a boat?????[]

the cave system of doom. theres steps leading to the abyss. some crazy orbs in that picture [&:]. scary. i was gettin hit with mad ticks in that area...i only got this shot. must be somethin livin in there.

we found a dump too...nothin all that great tho. []

wouldnt go down?? even for the attic mint pontil sodas?? im goin back with a lantern...my bowe knife...camoflauge...mike myers mask...and a camera as soon as the ticks go away. i pulled about 20 off me today. this thing looks old. my buddy george thought he had some kahonas and went half way in. he ran out so fast......
