Last night I posted the info/markings on the soda...forum. We went back to the site today! I found an old barn the tin roof has fallen down.found mason jars,a jug, mayo, possibly a mustard! I can't wait till I can get a look see at what is under all the rubble! But here is the two I really like!!

The look nice in a window with the sun shining thru them, it's possible that at one time this had a paper label for some sort of whiskey, my mother and father have used this same exact type of jar as a change holder for 50 years...

EHE Co.

Edward H. Everett Company (Newark Star Glass Works), Newark, OH (1880-1904). Plant merged in 1904 to become part of the Ohio Bottle Company and in 1905 part of the American Bottle Company. American was purchased by Owens Bottle Company in 1916, and in 1929 this plant became part of the merger that resulted in the formation of Owens-Illinois Glass Company. Also, see "S. K. & CO" and "N next to or within a star" marks.

No picture of the bottom. It has aprox. 2 1/2 " slightly indented circle in center of bottom. The outer portion of the bottom has two heavy seams. The seams stop at the top of neck., but they do not go up the sides of the mouth or blob or that top thingy!

The lip is tooled which is why the seams stop there, a good soak in soapy water and then a pic with the sunlight shining thru it would be nice at a later date....keep on searching...[;)]
