Recent diving finds

These are some recent finds while diving in a local river. Its real fun diving in zero visibility you never know what you have until you surface.

Its the first one I have found after many years digging, i find a lot of the blacks also but the middle one has imperial pint embossed on the bottom. the other blacks are pontiled

Hi John,
Some nice finds there and strange that the black glass after being in the water goes dull but if you dig them they are usually mint and the opposite is usually normal for aqua bottles.

I am so jealous! I tried to do river diving this summer, and I just didn't have the strength--talk about strenuous activity! You earned those bottles!

It is hard work but worth the rewards. Trog, it depends if the bottles are in the mud or moving about. I will post some picks of other finds to show how fresh some of the blacks look.

Great finds in Australia! I collect cure bottles so those warners are especially interesting! Did you ever dig(dive) a 4 cities Rheumatic cure? Good luck and stay away from the salties mate! Kev
