Lately, Ive acquired some new bottles. I bought some at some local antique stores and also won a few off ebay. Here is the group picture of everything ive recently bought.
I found all 3 of these at the same antique store. They are all Cloverdale Beverages Co. bottles from Newville, PA. I buy these because they had a large franchise in Baltimore. I keep them with my Baltimore sodas. All 3 of these are diferent. One has a clover on the base, one does not, and one has the embossing on both sides. I thought it was cool to see how many variations of these Cloverdale soda bottles there are out there. I got them for just $3 a piece too.
Here is a nice Baltimore steamer soda that I needed. I bought it for $16.00 off ebay. It is an F.B. Cary bottle. It is listed as uncommon in the Baltimore Bottle Book.
I was able to get these two nice pint milks also. Both are from Baltimore. One is a Snesil Dairy bottle that I got at an antique store and the other is a Farmland's Ditch Bros Dairy bottle. I needed this version of the Ditch Bros since the one I already had didn't have the permit on the back. I got this one off ebay.
Here are the last two bottles I recently bought and these are probably my favorites. They are two 1/4 Pint or Gill milks from Baltimore. One is Fairfield Farms Dairy and the other is Fairfield Western Maryland Sealtest Dairy. The Fairfield Farms Dairy is unlisted in the book so i assume that its a good one.
henry i have 36 different styles of newville cloverdale sodas... they are really fun to collect and you will get some great styles being from the baltimore area
Wow, thats very impressive. I never knew there would be so many. I think I have like 5 or 6 different ones so far but I have seen many more broken so ill dig some whole ones eventually.
