amongst many old bottles that I have a-massed from my house, I also located a large copper coin, date 1787 on the back, with bust facing left on the front.. I will attempt to get some pictures of this soon.

Colonial Vermont coppers are great coins. Some are very scarce. Post a picture so we can see what coin you have, its condition, and the variety.

Nope,, not interested in selling this coin , ( am a direct desendant of 3 green Mountain boys that helped Uncle Ethan Take Fort Ticonderoga from the British on this date, back in 1775, so my blood will not let me sell it!). this coin is in very ruff condition, and is of the rarer date, ( so says Martains coins in burlington).. I will attempt to get a picture of it soon.
