sodapop's recent post of the "Oxley Big Chief" immediately brought to mind an e-Bay seller I have bought from in the past, but whose bottles I have never heard mentioned on "Antique Bottles.Net" yet. Heck, as far as I know he may even be a member of this site, and possibly someone I may have communicated with but didn't know it. In any event, the reason for this reply has nothing to do with attempting to uncover his true idenity, but rather to invite others who may not be familar with him to check out his e-Bay site for some of the best bottles I've seen available for sale anywhere. He goes by the profile name of "waycool_collectibles," and from my experience with him, he is a knowledgeable and honest seller. And if he happens to read this, there is no need to respond, and I hope he doesn't mind my extending him kodos for a job well done, and for inviting others to tap in to e-Bay and see what he's all about. Good job, "waycool," keep up the good work. (The link below is to one of his current auctions showing a Wyoming "Big Chief." If interested, list him as a favorite/saved seller).

HELP! ~

I'm watching a "Green" Orange Crush bottle on e-Bay, (which I consider to be somewhat rare), but there is something about the color of this particular one that doesn't look quite right. I've never owned one, but of the few images I have seen, I thought it was a lot darker green. I'm posting a picture and link of it with the hope that someone can confirm for me if it is in fact original or a colored fake. Also, if you have one in your collection, please post an image of it for comparison. I probably shouldn't draw attention to it like this, as it may cause the bidding to increase, but I am hesitant to bid on it without knowing for certain if it is original or not.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. ~ (Where's that edit button?)

Regarding the green Orange Crush bottle, I swear the one I am looking for has a painted label ??? But for some reason I can't find an image of one anywhere.

Thanks again,

RE: Request For Photos Of Your Rarest ACL Sodas - Mil-Kay

Here's a Mil-Kay bottle that I have. Forgot where I picked this one up over the years though. Any ideas about the history of these?

it looks like the bad lighting is throwing off the color of the orange crush.

I've been eyeballing that one as well, and I'm pretty sure it's original; however, these tend to hit a Franklin note before they are done. Good luck. You won't have to bid against me on this one, I'd like to have it but just don't have the cash at the moment.

I know it's original now. In the picture of the bottom you will notice at the very bottom of the picture is a 29N, I doubt too many would know enough to repop that detail. This would also explain the difference in hue being as it is from a different glass company than the other green versions of this bottle.
