step 1: what i use:
clean and dirty water buckets
spray bottle
coffee grounds
funnel
scratchy pad cut into small squares
step 2
put some coffee grounds in the funnel, spray/rinse in to the bottle.
shake vigorously for a minute or two.
step 3
get the next bigger bottle, repeat step two, but pour 1st bottle contents into 2nd bottle.
step 4
repeat...
This doesn't always get every thing, but it sure helps.
note: in picture 1, on the left middle is a greenish mass, this is 3 squares of cut scratchy pad sealed in a baggy for field use. works great for cleaning the outside if near a steady water supply.
