Very sad. John contributed a lot to our hobby. While I did not get the chance to know him personally, I always appreciated the time and effort he put into helping bottle collectors with his want ad page and all the questions he answered for people about their bottles. Condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Digger, you will be missed by many. ~Jim

Indeed sad to learn this. I browsed his question & answer pages many times with great interest. As a fellow teacher & educator I am impressed to read of his involvement in education.
