Hey guys, got to the show in Memphis at 3:30 and found a good crowd and some great bottle dealers there! Super displays, the northeast and central US dealers have the most scarce, oldest, beautifully colorful,... and HIGHEST priced bottles I've seen. Fatastic stuff, I'm talkin about! One on the local dealers just happened to have a straight side soda , I've been diggin to find for two decades, and I found it in about 5 minutes! Yes!!![] It is a WEST TENN. WHOLESALE GROCERY SS soda bottle in great condition. It was bottled in Paris, Ripley and Brownsville Tenn. in the 1920's. Short life scan, some are marked with a small town name, I have a Brownsville bottle in clear glass but only 80% complete. Never since but one example from the other two towns, and no ones selling. I will be back tomorow, as I made one and half row of dealer tables before closing. It was good to see Mike from the Memphis Diggers again, and celerycola! Although I did not have time to talk to Dennis, he has a great display of cola and other soda bottle! The photo shows the National bottle second from the left, for a guy who loves his locals , this is the bomb! The other bottle shown are a couple of rare local art deco bottles by the UNION BOTLLING CO. forerunner of the Chero Cola and RC.
