I don’t think I have ever found a rare bottle at an antique store for cheap until now. There was a shelf of ball perfect jars, all quarts and pints except for this little ½ pint. When I walked up to it I saw the 2 and I thought it was going to be over prices at $200, but nope, I picked it up for an incredible $2! All of the other jars were $2 too so the seller had no idea the value of this little guy.

A very nice find indeed. Nothing better than finding a good jar at a low, low price. A few years ago I got a 1/2 pint Ball Ideal in ball blue (RB9 #202) for $4.00. Would love to find the 1/2 pint BPM you have shown to go with it.

Yep, it was a great surprise to find this one. It’s in perfect shape too. I don’t really collect newer jars but I will probably keep this one for my collection.

Does anyone know what the book price is on these at present ? In my area the glass top half pints showed up quite a bit for a while , not so often anymore . The zinc top half pints are really a hard find here .

Here is an Atlas half pint jar I have never found any info at all as for what they go for or as to how scarce they are. Anyone have a rough estimate or any info on them ?
