"SEAL" bottle....Beer?

Hi!
Found this dark green bottle, blob top, applied lip, embossed with only one word: "SEAL", on the side.
Nothing on the base.
Looks like a beer bottle, but i have never seen it before, and can't find anything on the net on it...
Anybody knows more?

good bottle am thinking German or some county like that . 1890s.

Joe You didn't give enough information about the details? Seams on the finish, pontil marks, or what ever is on the bottom. Will check back to the thread later. RED M.

Like i said: applied lip. Blob top, no seam on it.
No pontil mark. Blown in mold. Crude seams along sides.

it looks like a cold mold with no pontil to me.

I dig those in late 1890s dumps, they have a baltimore loop seal on them and are often nice and crude.

Have dug them and seen them in Canada, too. I lean towards them being English or German.
