Seeking info

Hello!

I am very new to collecting. We purchased a storage building and all it’s contents. The former owners dealt in antiques. I found several bottles among the boxes. Any info on these would be greatly appreciated. I can’t decide if I want to sell or start collecting!

Welcome to the forum! The purple jar I think is modern and decorative. The squat aqua one looks a lot like a Bixby shoe polish bottle, might have been an imitator. Not sure about the clear ornate one, looks like it likely has some age to it and doesn't look right for a modern decorative bottle. The two Wagner bottles are from somebody's modern-day spice rack. And I really have no clue on the dark ornate one.

I was thinking the purple was old because it has a pretty sharp pontil mark. It’s difficult to show in a photo.

Is the perfume bottle (clear ornate one) open pontil? The aqua one is a bixby. The jar looks modern to me ans that one of the bottom - the dark one looks like it could go either way without seeing it
