I plan to sell at the next local bottle show, but unfortunately, that's not until December... A little extra money helps to pay for some of my local purchases off eBay. I'm (hopefully) gonna sell off a few of the bottles I've dug or otherwise acquired. I'll also post some more later. All these include shipping:
BIM, amber, recessed base (post bottom mold), chemical bottle embossed "THE/ MALTINE/ MF'G CO./ CHEMISTS /NEW YORK". Stained pretty badly, but no actual damage, and a light tumbling would remove the stain. $18.
I've dug a few of these. They're pretty common, but still nice looking. It's an aqua quart blob from Newark, embossed "HORTON/ AND/ RICHARDSON/ NEWARK/ N.J./ THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD". This one has a really long bubble in the neck, which I think adds character. Unfortunately, this one has a couple tiny chips off the base, as well as a bit of base wear. Needs some cleaning. $11.
Small six sided BIM perfume bottle. It's in mint condition, but dug and with the tiniest bit of stain. It's embossed "C.H. SELICK/ PERFUMER/ NEW YORK". $13.
This is a little (I think) half pint milk I bought on a whim. On both sides, it says "KLIGERMAN DAIRIES". Around the heel, it says "MTC/ ATLANTIC CITY, N.J." The MTC mark was for the Thatcher Manufacturing Company, who used it from 1923 to the early 1950s. It has some other stuff embossed, too. The base says "KD". $10.
A large amber BIM medicine bottle. Embossed on the front panel "(AMC monogram) ATLAS MEDICINE CO./ HENDERSON N.C.U.S.A.". In mint condition. Nice tooled neck, with a strange indentation in it, presumably where the tool made contact with the glass. $23.
Clear BIM medicine bottle. Great condition, just some haze. Embossed on front "TRY BAKERS 10 MINUTE/ COUGH BALSAM 10 CTS". Embossed on base with "S.K.&.F.". $20.
Aqua 20's deco soda. Perfect condition. Embossed on shoulder "Q C B C". Underneath that, it says "QUEEN CITY BOTTLING CO.". Then, on the heel, it says "REGISTERED/ 7 FL. OZS.", as well as "227 WEST FRONT STREET/ PLAINFIELD, N.J.". $11.
An orange ACL quart milk bottle. On the front, it says "DRINK/ GERSTLAUER'S/ MILK/ FOR THAT/ SMILE OF HEALTH/ LEHIGHTON, PA.". It's got some pretty cool drawings of a woman and some other nice graphics. On the back, it has a long list of their other products. On the base, it says "DURAGLAS/ X/ 17/ 55". I don't know the rarity of this one, so I think I'd do $35.
This is an aqua paneled medicine in perfect condition. It's sparkling mint. It's got an unusual top for a medicine. On one side panel, it says "C. W. LINK DRUG CO.", and on the other, it says "NEW YORK". I can't find much about it, but I think GuntherHess told me they were sued for selling Castoria and went out of business. $25.
