Hi everyone -
Here are some more of my bottles that I said I would post. I am trying to make way for baby stuff as we have a newborn now, and I can no longer keep a lot of my collection. That, and the hubby wont go on digs with me until I get rid of some because we have no where to go with anything that we might find...so here are another set of three that I am willing to part with. Attached are photos, but if you need some more, let me know. All 3 bottles will be shipped together, so if you like what you see, send me an e-mail. All bottles will be bubble wrapped securely, and shipped priority mail with delivery confirmation all in one box. The price for shipping will be a standard $12 additional to the sale price and can be shipped to anywhere in the USA.
If you are interested in this lot of 3 bottles, please e-mail a suggested price you would be willing to pay. Highest offer willing to pay per paypal - money order or cashiers check, will receive the bottles. I will be accepting offers until April 8th. After that, I will notify you if your offer is the chosen offer.
I accept paypal, and money orders/cashier checks.
Here are the descriptions:
Left bottle:
This bottle is a clear bottle. On the front, it has the name Cosley Bottling Works....and below that, around the heel, Dubuque, IA
On the back heel it says contents 7 FL OZ.
When tipped over, on the bottom it appears to have a 1. at the top, then R.J.C. in big letters. Under that is the Owens Illinois symbol with a 9 on the left and a 4. on the right of it.
This bottle is in what I think is pretty good shape for being in the ground for over 50 years.
Center bottle:
This bottle is an aquamarine color, and has a different kind of a lip than the others. Under the lip, it says Registered Patented Priof
On the front, it says Spring Beverage Co. above the tulip flower and then under it, it says
730 S. Marshfield Ave.
Contents 7 fl. oz.
Chicago, ILL. - in a semi circle
On the heel of the back, it looks like it says 1900 27 or 1990 27 (the numbers are worn down a bit, and I can't make a clear distinction between a 9 or a 0)
When tipped over, on the bottom, it has the Illionois symbol with a 1 under it
Again, I think this is a fairl decent bottle considering it has been in the ground for nearly 100 years.
Right bottle:
This bottle is a clear bottle and it has Arbutus on a slant upwards on the front.
under it, it has Trade then a circle with some squiggles that look like an a 8 a in the center then mark on the other side.
Under that in a semi circle, it says Oconto, WIS.
Contents 7 FL. OZ.
On the back near the base, it says:
Registered
This bottle never sold
C (or a 6 - I can't tell by the embossing) 3986
When tipped over, on the bottom (this is my favorite part of this bottle)
There are two fish crossed and on the left it says F.J. and on the right it says ER
underneath that, it has the Owen Illinois symbol with the number 9 on the left and 5. on the right and appears to be a 1 under the symbol.
If you have any questions, or would like more photos, do not hesitate to ask.
Thanks everyone, and keep an eye out, I will be eliminating more bottles from my collection soon.
