Post a picture of your favorite squat soda or mineral bottle.
Here is one of our favorite squat sodas. An early pontiled aqua E. Lester from St. Louis.

Great looking bottle...[8D] Here's one I found this past fall. It hasn't been cleaned yet[&o]
Carter, Wilson & Co from Boston... medium green would you say?

Here's another found in the same area. It is an earlier bottle, real narrow neck, vertically embossed, iron pontil from 22 feet of water...[] (has yet to be cleaned) Another Carter, Wilson Manuf , Boston... Anyone have info on this bottle???
Hey Wayne,
Thanks for posting your two Carter Wilsons.
Both are very nice and appear to be in very good condition. I love the high kick up in the medium green squat pontil.
The aqua bottle has most of its iron intact.
It would seem that bottles recovered from water would have less damage to them?
Let me know if you ever want to part with them.
We have one Carter Wilson, long neck in light cobalt.
If anybody can give us any background information on these bottles that would be great.

That medium green has a little bit of iron left on it as well... it was iron pontiled. They look so good because they were buried in the mud. Had to do quite a bit of digging to get to them. I was thinking about having them both tumbled and then puting them up on E-bay. They are up for sale...[:-] PM me and I'll fill you in.
I'll be laid up over the winter from shoulder replacement surgery, so I'll have a lot of free time on my hands[&o] I plan on getting caught up with a lot of research, photographs and chasing my wife around the house daily!!!! [8D](only for the exercise, though... really.... I mean it...[&:])
Hey Wayne,
Shoulder replacement surgery sounds painfull. What happened to cause you to have this surgery? However, you seem to a good plan and good attitude for your recovery time.
I don't know how to PM you about the bottles. Would you mind emailing me at bowlofcereal223@yahoo.com?
How can you see bottles when your down in the bottom of a lake, river, etc? Also, how do you handle the current in a river?
The only diving I've done is when the waves get big, I dive for the bottom, then get ragdolled and dragged until the wave lets go of me.

ps chasing your wife around the house is fun anytime.
Howsit Warren,
Thanks for the compilments on the bottles. That E. Lester came from a privy near St, Louis.
You ever thought about doing a stand up comedy act, I swear there are about 4 or 5 guys on this forum who always funny (your the best).
