Small Blue Bottle

It's about 3.5 inches tall and has vertical ribbing on one side. The bottom has an oval with a M or W inside it. I wanted to know what the contents may have been. Thank you.

I would say that it is a poison given the ribbing. I think the logo on the bottom is Maryland Glass Co.

I have only ever encountered these bottles in one dump I know which dates to the early 1920's, all of them were cracked unfortunately. It's a great little bottle!

Yeah these were typically used for over-the-counter products which were poisonous, I think. Here's a labeled one of a different size:

WOW! Great info, CanadianBottles. Thanks for that. Apparently it was a cobalt solition used to treat head lice...eeewwww!
