Cream sodas are about the coolest segment of sodas you can collect. Typically blobtops, and small like your example.
Now, I do not know if they contained Cream Soda, or a concentrate to make it, but I will guess that they contained the actual Cream Soda.
Scarce as hens teeth these Cream Soda bottles. Most seem to be from the 1860 to 1880 period.

Why would they have made a blob so small?

Ha, could be, Carobran, depending on what's inside! or was. That would look good in my small soda collection! Nice!

I love these little cream soda bottles. Oddly enough, I can't stand to drink cream soda [:'(] I love vanilla, I love cream and I love soda, but together, they're just not a good combination for my taste buds.

Most of these that I remember seeing were from New York. Cool little bottles. ~Jim

Hey Connor,

Is it Seely & Bro? Seely & Sons? Perhaps a Grand Opening Sampler, at a new location...

See item # 2242, OVER HERE.

I got a big kick out of going to your OVER HERE. The link took me to the post of the write up that included the several designs of the Aunt Jemima Syrup bottles. I was personally involved with making several samples of molds for making these bottles and we had a heck of a time making the faces and forms to suit the companies marketing people. In fact I think I have some of the odd ones in my barn up in New York.

Hey Red,

You mean those Aunt Jemimas UP THERE? What a fascinating project that must have been, RED. I went back and clicked around a bit. It appears she underwent several MAKEOVERS.

You may have some real Advertising History Treasures in your barn.
