Been raining so much up here my dumps are under water, so I do the next best thing, flie markets and yard sales, been finding sasparilla's for under 5 bucks, any info on the stevens one, is it common? here are the pics of the ones
STEVEN'S from LOWELL,MASS. USA is listed as Scarce in John DeGrafft's American Sarsaparilla Bottles so that was a good find. The rest are pretty common but as long as they are in good shape you did OK.Yes, I have a few interesting bottles, been digging off and on since the late 50's.
The Groders is probably worth about $20. Which Rushs bottle is that, Sarsparilla? Rush's Sarsaparilla is pretty commom. The kilmers and chamberlain are common. The stevens is definately the best one.
Thanks guys, I like to dig them too, but with the end of the school year and my daughter just got out today and the wife, the teacher gets out Fri. and all the rain, my season usaully don't begin til this weekend, but on the weekends I go these thrift stores and look for bottles, keeps me from going thru withdrawels[]
