Just wanted to share this little fact I read this morning:

On this day, January 11, in history:

1878 In New York, milk was delivered in glass bottles for the first time by Alexander Campbell.

hi greenpoison, that's nice information. i have 2 very old milk bottles that the seam does not go to the top. there seem to be no information on prior on earlier milk bottles. thanks, rhona
