some nice surprises

Last weekend and today we dug a new area. Last week was the jar dig - some nice ones, and today was a nice amber flask and a couple of other good finds. This is an old old area, and we haven't been able to locate the older dump, but this one isn't bad - not a big area, but some nice glass regardless. Only dug for an hour today - I'm sick as a dog - but wanted to get these up. The first group is from last weekend - uncleaned - check out the jar on the far right in the back.

A nice Electric Fruit Jar! Ground lip - It's in such great shape too, only a little haze inside.

Nice 1858 mason with the embossed shield on the back - ground lip and original cover.

A Scotts emulsion, not an early one, but I couldn't leave it behind.

Great Hemingray water bottle - it's the Waterfall design - I think 1930's

This is an incredible flask. The color goes from amber up top to a beautiful deep red-amber on the bottom. It is whittled to death, and loaded with seed bubbles. Nice gloppy applied top, and just a really nice old piece of glass.
