I just picked up a lot of about 80 bottles and 20 insulators. I picked out a few neat ones and also some I had questions about. It was mostly 3 part black glass, but I love that stuff.

I think I'll leave all the barnacles on this one

This is a really nice pepper sauce. I'm not really into these so I know nothing about it. What would this pattern be called? Any info would be appreciated. Applied lip and a 5 and a J on the base.

Some cool flasks. This one has full labels and the complete stopper.

Lead screw cap, at least it's super heavy, and tooled threads. When would this date too? The 1890s?

Big patterned pumpkin seed. I'm not sure the volume, it's 6 3/4" tall.

A common case gin. Did they chamfer the corners to protect them for being broke off?

This is one I'm really curious about. It's a regular black glass bottle, but what's up with that pontil? Why is it blue?

And some a few more locals.

Anyone interested in seeing some black glass photos? I'll take some pics of those too if yall are interested in those too. I love em.....

Nice glass. Did you know that the Walther & Bell also comes in cobalt, as does the square Doherty's.

Those sure would be sweet! I've seen the square Doherty's and I want one pretty bad. Really nice embossing on em.

i have a similar beer with the blue color in it its one of my original posts on the good old atb.net..the explanation i received a few years back is that the blue was caused by something called glass gall..or gaul..ill try and find that post

Heres a bottle that I have that has a simular blue color to center of base. Ive only seen a couple like this and always thought that it was cause by heat or fire to the base. Could this be a fired pontil?
