While driving through the picturesque PA countryside, we encountered many beautiful old homes that looked ripe for digging- all permissions, of course. Couldnt resist taking a picture of this.

naturally, i wondered if that was the original hole and wanted to probe along that whole area. there was an old cement walkway leading right to it as you see in many small PA towns.

In Peoria ohio, we have one still standing near the railroad tracks. The house it once went to is long gone (or so i think) as next to it is a trailer and nothin more. Could be that the house is just far away but next to it laying on the railroad tracks i found the top of an old hutch bottle. It probably isnt the origional, but close.
