strange bidding - over 1000 bids

Here some strange bidding. Over 1000 bids in 1 cent increments.

That bidder has been discussed before, I'm very confused trying to figure out the scoop since bidding can only be done in certain increments...

Another strange part is that it is not an "arrestor" but a Capacitor Bushing and they typically will sell for in the $20 - $25 range. That color is pretty common for them, I've had several of them and currently have 7 on display in my Man Cave window. (They belong to a friend)

I think the bidder is using a penny auction bidding tool. Very useful for penny auction sites, but terrible for eBay. It keeps adding a penny until he's up. The program is getting by the regular bid increments.

No you can't, I looked into that with an item I'm bidding on...[;)]
