Strange Bird Feeder?

Picked this up a while back...has a burst top like an English ink but also a big hole in one side a bit like those bird cage feeders. Only problem is that it has two openings (burst top and side opening). What is it?

No idea. Kind of puts me in mind of an early nightlight for some reason.

I thought they were nursing bottles. The rubber nipple would fit over the small opening on the end.

Is that a ground shoulder around the larger opening and have you got a pic of the back at a different angle. This looks like a fun one.

Got me thinking could it be part of a display for a glass house of their wares. It would look nice mounted on a board with a light behind it to show off their molds/glasswares.

It certainly looks like a fancy bird feeder to fit onto a real fancy Victorian bird cage.

The large opening is more of a "burst" opening than a ground one...it gets very thin around the opening. I've attached a few more photos.
