strange pepsi-cola bottle

I've bought this bottle at a flea market.
Does anyone know more of this bottle from which year it is and why he has the crazy shape.

this bottle was once a lot shorter.this bottle came from a fair where it was heated and stretched. its been awhile since if seen one.

I remember seeing this done at my county fair , but for the likes of me I can not remember what the time period was I saw this stretching method done to them there . At the time I had no idea that a glass bottle could actually be heated and stretched , I was totally amazed by it .
