Is it possible that this jar contained Strontium-90 or do y'all think it would have been marked accordingly? When I attempted to translate it came back with one of the words as industrial.

It's possible, in the early days radioactive stuff was a cure for everything. I was also thinking that maybe it's Laria, Peru which might explain some talk about the Spanish connection.

Gunther- I am not worried, I bought it from an antique store where its been sitting for quite a while. It was stuck behind some other bottles. =)

I don't know how much its worth, but I think its worth it to me. Its so cool to learn the history behind the bottles!
