Chris and I got out last sunday for our Baltimore tour and ended up in a yard that we have been in a few times but there was a giant tree down in the yard and of coarse right over the pit, so we were happy to find the tree gone. Chris pulled out the magic probe and had the pit in about 10 seconds, we were hoping for a barrel and that is what we got so we jumped into in with all we had but it was filled in with clay and river rock mixed with ash and that is not a good combination for digging and add in the fact that it was 99 degrees and we were in direct sunlight, ooohh it was bad ! It turned out to be a double barrel about 7 ft deep and it was a typical Baltimore pit .......one good bottle......but there was 22 marbles 7 of them painted chinas and a gold pocket watch along with a few broken balto pontiled meds and there was a broken aqua Dyottsville whiskey cylinder. The one good bottle was a nice one a aqua Summer/Winter flask in great shape..............Greg
