The snow is gone from the lower elevations...went bottle hunting and metal detecting this week-end[
] Found a couple of unusal looking perfume bottles, (late 40's, early 50's maybe)..lots of bottle caps, nails and pieces of wire...but no silver coins or gold nuggets or blob tops...[]
Did get permission to metal detect on an old townsite that burnt down in 1959..so next weekend...look out..here I come....also there is an old "three holer" used by the old sawmill by the town site...going to ask permission to excavate it...who knows...maybe the foreman dropped his gold watch in there one Friday afternoon long ago..[]
