contacted the guy, I had won an older batterman pontil version the week before for $20, tried to tell him that the older one went for $20 and offered him $15 per bottle. He comes back at me screaming $100 per bottle. No thank you lol.

Ill tell you why they arent, it might seem weird but, the batterman bottles come in many different forms, two weeks ago I won the oldest iron pontil variation for only $20, All the battermans, say 1861 on the front, all versions, pontil or not, not to mention that there are alot of them.

Its just like a Morton and Bros Newark NJ pony blob I got in a antique store, its not pontil, its 1880s, but the date on the front says 1851

just to note, the two blobs he has are not pontil, one has major wear.
