Hi there,

Recently found another bottle. This one is quite interesting. It is an emerald green glass Sussex Soda Pop bottle from Sussex, New Brunswick with F+B embossed on the base. I think this one might be around the same age as the ginger beer bottles which might make this one unique. I don't know an exact date for sure, which I would really like to know. I have been searching but I can't find any information. Is this bottle as valuable as the ginger beers? I really like this one. Hope I can find some info on it!

Thanks,
Kevin

It's a P & B on the bottom, for the last names of the proprietors.

And here we go:
"SUSSEX BEVERAGE COMPANY,
Proprietors, J. H. Pearn and G. P. Bol-
ton, Manufacturers aerated waters. J. H.
Pearn was born in Ontario and G. P.
Bolton in New Brunswick. The business
was established in 1912, and is now the
best equipped and largest plant in
Maritime Provinces. Address, Sussex,
N. B."

From a 1922 book:

I saw two others online, so not rare but doesn't seem to be as common as the ginger beers.

To research something, I recommend Google.
When wanting specific words in specific order, put them in quotations.
When not wanting particular words words, put a dash in front of every word you don't want.

My search looked just like this:
"Sussex Beverage Company" -Ginger -Beer

Oh, by the way.... it looks machine made (seams go up to the top?) so it's likely later 1910s to 1920s.

I've dug broken examples of this bottle and seen whole ones at the Sussex Flea Market (great place for bottles...it is the de-facto Canadian Maritimes bottle show, it seems), usually priced in the $5-10 range. Of course they are still in business and I absolutely love their ginger ale...way better than the normal crap at the grocery store here in the US.
