I'm working on a flip house and this was headed for the dumpster, I said.. "hey, can I have that?" and they said yes.. It's an empty wall-mounted metal lock box, the dissected guts are next to it on the right.. [:)]

Yup, looks broke to me to.
I'm guessing, mainboard, wireless transmitter and battery backup charger/unit.
Oh, and a box. Do you have the key? All the little window and door switches would be handy too.

I saved most of the sensors from the doors and windows too, I guess they belong in this category so I'll get around to posting them. There was a big brick-like black plastic battery from Radio Shack, I chose to leave that on site.. I mean like half a brick, not a whole one.. ..I wondered if the 'tongue test' like with a 9 volt battery would work on this....
