Label wear looks real, but I can't tell without handling it, allthough enough people really seem to think it's good...[;)]

Something about it strikes me as odd too... The label just looks a little "weird"...

Not only that, but the seller's 7 feedbacks is a little alarming... AND the description seems very suspicious to me as well. Apparently a few bidders disagree with me, but I think there's definitely something fishy...

I'm confused why it is on a Hostetter's.
Much cheaper to steal another bottlers bottles than to pay for your own if you're gonna slap labels on them. I bet the Hostetter's were a dime a dozen back in the day...[;)]

Makes sense. No way you could get away with doing that today...

There is a hutch soda from Sacramento embossed C. Schneer & Co. He operated the Capital Soda Works from 1892 to 1908. The dates seem to go with the labeled tonic and I think it could be authentic and probably quite rare. However I would not pay that much for one, but to each their own. The "C" stood for Constant, there were two other brothers Edward and Antoine.
