Well I did a google image search of the inkwell/stopper bottle and it came up with the attached photo from ebay. That is the same type of bottle except the one pictured had a screw top. This makes me think mine is some kind of a bottle as opposed to a stopper. The bottom of mine does appear to be a flat bottom. The ebay seller did not specify what this type bottle would have been used for, so I guess they did not know. So I thought I'd ask again if anyone has seen this type of bottle. thank you!
