hello i hope to find out some info on these bottles,1st one imperial extract toronto 4.5" tall seams stop at shoulders,2nd canadian hair dye northrop &lymans 3.5" tall,3rd is kind of neat its 4: tall funny shaped{crooked}says dr thompsons eye water new london conni seams stop at shoulder,4th dr a fowlers extract 5"tall,last one just has a design on it looks like a perfume bottle??4.5"tall,i will post pics.thank you people for the help...

Hi I find too many items (except the hair dye) on Northrop & Lyman. They also bought other companies. To shorten this up, Northrup & Lyman began as Tuttle, Moses & Northrup of Newscastle Canada West, a branch of Tuttle & Moses Auburn NY Established
in 1854. Between 1859 and 1862 John Lyman & Henry Northrop purchased Tuttle & Moses. Renamed it Northrop & Lyman and in 1874 relocated in Toronto.
Embosing ceased in the 1940's. The bottles were embosed as early as early as 1860
In the mid 1960's renamed Northrup & McGillivedry By 1980 out of business.

I also find some items for Imperial (cosmetic type) but made in NY.

Introduced 1795 by Dr Isac Thompson, Taken over by Son-inlaw in 1830
and the bottles continued to be embossed New London.
Advertised 1941-42 by John Thompson Sons & Company Troy NY
Light green, aqua 3 3/4" x ?.

Advertised in 1890 and 1904
Aqua 5 1/8" x 1 5/8"x 7/8"

Also asscociated with three other companies for different products.
