Hi guys, since the snow is gone now and the ground isn't frozen I decided to venture around the area and came upon a house that was built in 1850. There is also a small stable (now a garage) and a 2nd small garage behind the main house. I found that there was a school house on the property which was torn down . There is a wooded area behind the house and garages that slopes down like a hill. Anyone know were a good place to start digging or were there might be a privy or bottle dump ? Thanks and hope everyone had a good Easter :) -Jake

If its a country setting with woods around, look in the woods for a dump. Why throw trash in the privy that you have to clean out and get crap all over your self? [:D]They tossed the bottles in the woods. in the country. If it was an 1850 row home id say probe the property line. They are easy to find in rows.

Yes the home is situated in a what was once a farming community. Luckily the property has really never been renovated or altered over the years:)
