Toss the pills? but I'm not sure what they should be taken with? haa......You did see the orig cap, 'tis not much left. How common is it to dig up 100 yr old bottles with contents still in them?

Lol! Thanks guys for your thoughts, I would be pretty grody too being in the ground 80 sumthing years. You just never know what some people like to collect. I'll have more to share from the same dig, should I post them here? Or (I'm still kinda new to this post/thread/forum stuff), do I have to earn some wings to get out of the "newbe" isle. On second thought, as I look at my small box of common pieces maybe, I really am "a newbe".

Hey DugZ, there are a lot of bottle collectors in Southern Cal. Los Angeles Bottle Club holds monthly meetings in Duarte on the last Thursday of the month, and holds their annual Bottle Show in September, this year to be held in Santa Ana. There is also a new bottle club in the Bay Area of So. Cal. You can learn a lot by attending club meetings and shows!
