I'm on the hunt for Wagner Glass Company bottles.
I just got this one offline. I'm hoping this is Wagner, unless one of you can prove me otherwise.
I outlined the base embossing in Sharpie as it was rather weak. The only other marking is "14 OZ" and a small capital "A" towards the bottom.

I couldn't find any info on the "20th Century" marking. Pretty decent chance it was Wagner but without being able to see a company catalogue or finding a shard at the factory site it's pretty much impossible to say for certain. By the way, have you seen this one on Ebay? It's another W.G. Co. 20th Century bottle: https://www.ebay.com/itm/134797884322

I have been in coorespondence with one of the people that lives on the factory grounds. They sent me this picture, of two bottles they found while digging. Unfortunately, they have no markings whatsoever.
A friend of mine suggested that we cannot even conclude that these are Wagner made, as they could possibly be cullet. I doubt that, but without a marking of any kind, I suppose it is possible.
That eBay link is amazing. No, I had not seen it. It has to be of the same manufacturer, I assume "20th Century" would have been a name for a product line.
Thank you so much for your informative response!!!

Here are some photos from the eBay listing CanadianBottles mentioned earlier in the thread. I am posting them here so someone may make reference of them later.

Seeing those pictures of the shards makes me think there's a better chance these were made by Wagner, one of the shards has that same rounded lip which your bottle has, which strikes me as a bit unusual for BIM pharmacy-style bottles. As for 20th Century, I'm assuming it's a line of pharmacy glassware. Pharmacy bottles themselves often had brand names, although it's odd to see the same one on two completely different types of bottle. Not sure what that was about, since usually the brand name referred to the style of bottle. Maybe they had a "20th Century" line of pharmacy bottles in general? It's a shame it's such an un-Googleable name.

This piece is currently listed on eBay. Likely a product of Wightman Glass out of Pennsylvania.
Hopefully the seller will lower his price and I can grab it. If I can match the embossing to the one on my Citrate bottle, then we know the Citrate bottle is likely NOT Wagner. And if the Citrate bottle is out, so is the clear bottle, as they are both marked "20th Century".
Or, I guess there is a small chance this Hires bottle is also a Wagner product. Unlikely, but possible.
