Every year, the first and second weekends in October there is Spoon River Drive here in central Illinois. Basically, many miles of yard sales and flea markets. Really a hodgepodge of new stuff, crafts, antiques, food, and some pure junk. This is only the second year ive gone. Ive lived here for 5 years. Anyways, here are some pics of the recent additions:

Looks like a great haul! I especially like the 2nd one in from the left (is that the one you called a slick blob with stopper?) - so no markings at all - even on the bottom? ...very cool!

Are you going out next weekend too? Keep us up on your finds!

The bottom says: MADE BY JOHN MATTHEWS NY PAT JUNE 11 1872

MADE BY is backwards and here is a close up of the top. Anybody know what to call this style?

Great Weber bottle! Looks like a solid old applied top.

Plummy, yeah saw frank. the weber was 20 and the singer was 20. couldnt pass em up. i asked about his other peoria stuff and he hasnt had his friend look at it yet. i told him what we r doing with the book and gave him my card to call me. if i happen to get to the leftovers before you, i wont hog em all. i'll pick up everything i can and me n u can split em up when u get a chance to come up from school. i know you need some for your collection. just pay me what i spent on em or we can work out a trade. either way, i'll be sure to share with ya. you know that.

the weber has been repaired but still a tough bottle and made by the DeSteger Glass Co up in Lasalle Peru.
