Found this at a yard sale last Saturday. Paid ten bucks. Any idea on age? When I was about 8 yrs old mine were metal and yellow. My little brothers were plastic. Can't see it too well but the badge on the door says, No. 5

wish I could show my old toys but....my father used to get these cleaning fits where he`d throw stuff away and guess where my toys and comic books went? oddly, those fits only struck when we were at school.

Well that is a nice toy. I have my first toy - a Hubbley green racer with a removable driver. I also have one of my grandfathers toy train engine - and he ended up driving trains from NY to Chicago and back.
Toys are and should be keepers for every one = they taught us how to love things. RED Matthews

Got quite a few old Tonkas around. That Fire Truck is mid to late 50's. Here is a dump truck of mine that is the same age.
