Does anyone know anything about torpedo bottles. THe only thing I know is that they where used in shipping yards and have a applied slanting top mine is aqua colored and has no embossing except som numbers on the bottom.

The only type of torpedo I can think of in shipping yards are the sort you would not want in your collection [:D] .
Can you post a photo O.T. digger ? it sounds like an interesting bottle.

Hi I was wounding if you would know about a Torpedo bottle that is light green but is a milky color and has the letter k with a circle around it and the #12 I found it in the Cheasapeake Bay Norfolk,Va While I was claiming I was told it might of been off the White Star Line Steam Ships If you have any info Thanks

the bottle is a round bottom bottle, used to bottle artificial sodas and flavorings from 1875 to 1920, got to this web site to see.
