How can you tell if it's radiated amber or real amber?

How can you tell if it's radiated amber or real amber?
The irradiated ones tend to have an odd hue to them, it's not quite the same shade of amber that actual amber bottles have. This is also a jar which is commonly found in amber. It's the bottles which are not typically found in amber and are almost worthless in clear that you have to be particularly careful of - things like hobbleskirt Cokes or common patent meds.
