Two Mason fruit jars

Not sure if they show but I found two 2 Qt. fruit jars at a family estate. One was Nov 30,1958 Mason with a Atlas lid the other was a Root Mason with a Ball lid. I'm going back tomorrow to look again.

Nice jars. Both are relatively common in aqua but do have a place in jar collections.

I like the Root, it can be dated fairly well. Somewhere between 1901 and 1913. Even closer may be only to 1909 or so assuming Ball continued with the mold for a while.

Specifically, I am 100% sure the Root Mason was produced somewhere between 1905-1909. That's as long as Root Glass Co. made fruit jars.
