Picked this up in a small glass insulator collection i bought yesterday. Pretty sure it's a u-199a. Probably sell it so I can buy more glass. Anyone know the book price on this thing?
Thanks

If in fact it is a U-199a the book I have (a bit outdated) gives it a value of $21 - $35. I don't know if Elton Gish has updated prices recently, sold off my porcelain collection about a year ago. At any rate, for a brown porcelain piece it is VERY nice.

I think it might be a U-199 since your photo shows an outer skirt rest. The U-199A drawing shows an extended petticoat so I'd expect that style to have a petticoat rest. But I'm not great with porcelain or figuring out U-numbers.

Anyway, the porcelain book shows brown U-199 Thomas for 15-30, or U-199A for 30-45. Porcelain tramps are always good items.

This didn't last long. I posted a picture on ICON and mentioned that I'll likely sell it, and got an email with an offer the next day. Selling this pays for the small collection I just bought and then some!
