Umbrella Ink or Perfume Bottle Suggestions?

I dont know the difference. Is this and umbrella ink or is it a perfume bottle. It has 8 sides and there is no embossing. Thanks for any help

Am I seeing the color right? It looks sort of like it has an amber tint to it, and there were some similar colored perfume bottles, often part of a dresser set, some were Depression glass. The color, shape and lack of markings suggests more perfume than ink to me. Couldn't see the neck very well - what type of stopper would it seem to have had? Whatever, I think its pretty!
