unknown pot lid

bought this pot lid for 5$ at a flea market. It is broke but put back together professionally by the people on the sticker next to the damage. You can,t see the damage on the front.Was wondering what it is worth or if anybody is interested in it.

For a "complete" example these list in Mortimer @ 40 - 60 pounds. No point repairing this one. It is what it is.

This lid is known as either the First appeal or Second appeal. (not sure which); I actually dug one of these in an old Pig farm alongside the Grand Union Canal in W. London. I remember it well as it is rare to find such a lrge colour lid in a dump.

It is a very pretty lid and was subject to a number of later additions, often of poorer quality.

it is also a genuine prattware done by Jesse Austin always distinguishable by the black dots at both sides caused by engravers clamp
