VO&C Bottle

Hello,today I found in Alor - Indonesia a broken bottle:

On the neck is a stamp "VO&C". I can't find anything at the internet about VOC (Vereneging Oost Indie Company) and an "&" between "VO" and "C". I agree with the others, a truly magnificent picture for an antique bottle lover. It is indeed a sealed gin bottle, looks to be mid 1800s to me. I know nothing of the company, hopefully someone else can help. THANK YOU for sharing.
