Hey Gang, Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Recently dug a privy and came across a lot of great stuff, was wondering if anyone here had any additional info on a couple of the items. First one is a smooth-based AQUA squat, W.R. ROWE NORFOLK, VA, fair amount of case wear, but no chips or cracks. I found an online 1859 Norfolk city directory with an ad for Rowe (one of only two beer/mineral water businesses listed), but not much other information. It appears Mr. Rowe had a son in 1860 who went on to become a ship captain and wrote at least one book, but I didn't find much at all about the bottler.

Next item is a clear Cincinnati medicine, pretty sick, but no chips/cracks,

for which I also found several ~1880 online ads for its use to fight venereal disease (washed my hands extra good after cleaning that one, haha). I suspect this one was fairly common, as it was advertised in publications in multiple states (Atlanta, GA, and Syracuse, NY, as well as the Covington, KY listing).

Anyway, anyone have any additional info on history, rarity, etc.?

Thanks,
- Al

Thanks for the feedback, and the sales jingle. [;)]

Tod, any idea on how common/uncommon it may be?

Great Norfolk bottle. That's got to be a good one. Never seen or heard of that one before. Wish I could tell you more about it other than I like it.
