Wahiawa Dig

[WAHIAWA DIGGER]

Had a nice dig in my home town earlier this year and found this nice Japanese dish. Not sure what it was used for because there are 5 marks in the dish that looks like it held some sort of pedestal and the bottom looks different too. Bottles in the earlier 1900's came out of that area. Was a nice dig until some friends of mine got stopped by Mc Garrett & 5-0. ;-)

Thanks Joe... Most times I find oriental ceramics all in pieces but this area gave up some nice ones in sweet conditions. My friend dug up a tea cup and Sake bottle just a few feet from me. I am lucky to say that these now are in my collection.
