Here is a quilt-pattern flask from the 1870s. Fresh from the pit last weekend [:)]. This is a good idea, let's get a GOOD thread going and see some more goodies from your most recent pit, dump, auction, antique shop, anywhere. ~Jim

It's probably just the (poor) lighting. It looks clear, but it might have just the slightest amethyst tint. Now you've got me wondering, I'm gonna have to get it out and look closer [:D].

Nice Warner's, Jim. Yours is lighter and has a different lip than any of mine. Mine have the "blob" type lip, but I like the double-collars like yours. ~Jim

Buzz - that's a nice color. I've seen clear Warner's recently. Are they newer or just as old as the amber varients??

You are right.I have been meanspirited in posts in the past.I apologize to everyone that had to read that crap and will try to better promote the hobby I love.It is one thing to disagree but name calling and insults have no place here.Here is an old digging pic but it shows my intent to change.[:D]
